Death: A Self-Portrait at the Wellcome Collection

As anyone who has read my previous reviews of Wellcome Collection exhibitions knows, I’m a big fan. I love Henry Wellcome. I love his collection. I love the history of medicine. So when the Wellcome opened an exhibition entitled Death, I was quite exited.

Damien Hirst at Tate Modern

For once in my life, I may be in danger of being a bit cool. Only a bit, because this is obviously painfully mainstream, but still. I went to the opening weekend of the Tate Modern’s Damien Hirst Retrospective.

Scott’s Last Expedition @ the Natural History Musuem

I took a turn around the Natural History Museum on Friday evening. Lates at the South Kensington Museums is de riguer at the moment, and I had heard good things. Quite apart from the building being awesome (in the truest sense of the word), I saw a rather fantastic temporary exhibition: Scott’s Last Expedition.
